The Fireside Festival is a series of events celebrating winter… it’s all about curling up by the crackling fire, tasting the best winter cuisine, enjoying glasses of fine red wine, discovering new places and experiences, relaxing with friends and family and immersing yourself in winter.
The Fireside Festival is on from 1 – 31 August 2009 with 23 businesses from in and around the Canberra region bringing together events that promise to inspire and warm you this winter.
To give you a taste of things to come there will be everything from horse rides, to piano recitals and a pizza-oven making workshop. You can blend your own Muscat, learn the art of slow cooking, indulge in degustation dinners and vertical wine tastings, enjoy exhibitions or feel new again with a lava body wrap… and the best part is that you can book in for an overnight stay to really escape from it all…
